Choose your microphone
Open Settings → Audio and allow microphone access. Select the intended device. Noise cancellation, echo cancellation and automatic gain controls depend on device support. Restart listening after changing audio processing.
Choose transcription
The application supports Deepgram, OpenAI Whisper and a local Whisper executable. Cloud providers require internet and their own credentials. Local Whisper requires a configured executable and model; once installed, it can run offline.
Rehearse before the service
Press Listen and speak a reference such as “Romans chapter eight verse twenty eight.” Review the resulting passage in Preview. Keep automatic projection disabled until you are comfortable with detection behavior.
Adjust detection
In Settings → Bible Detection, raise minimum confidence or lower sensitivity if normal conversation triggers references. Increase commit delay if verses appear too early. Optional voice commands include next verse, previous verse and translation switching; output commands such as go live act directly on the output.
